This is the biggest Half Marathon of the Netherlands and is part of the TCS Amsterdam Marathon.
The course starts at the Stadionweg and goes through Churchilllaan, Rijnstraat and the Utrechtse Bridge over the Amstel river. Next you run through Watergraafsmeer and Zeeburg. The rest of the course is the same as that of the full marathon.
The course leads the participants through Amsterdam’s city centre and passes many highlights, which would also be worth a separate sightseeing tour. You can read some of the most attractive sights here.
